The performance of dining and restaurant apps in Portugal during the fourth quarter of 2024 shows interesting trends in user engagement and app downloads. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps have experienced varied performance metrics, reflecting their popularity and user interaction levels.

McDonald’s in Portugal saw its weekly downloads peak at 11K in late November, with a notable increase from early October figures of around 5K. Active users also showed fluctuation, beginning the quarter with approximately 123K and peaking at 186K in late November before declining to 109K by the end of December.

TheFork - Restaurant bookings maintained a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from 2.3K to 3.6K throughout the quarter. Active user engagement grew steadily from 66K in early October to a high of 84K in mid-November, before ending the quarter around 67K.

BURGER KING - Portugal showed consistent download activity, with figures fluctuating between 1.8K and 2.7K. Active users started at 48K, saw a slight dip, and ended the quarter strong at approximately 50K.

The H3 app experienced a gradual increase in downloads, reaching a high of 2.1K in late November. Active users also rose from 6.8K to 8.3K during the same period, indicating growing user engagement.

Starbucks Portugal experienced a decline in both downloads and active users. Downloads decreased from 1.5K at the start of the quarter to 681 by the end. Active users followed a similar trend, dropping from 5.5K to just under 5K.
